These cleanroom lab coats and frocks undergo clean-processing to reduce shedding. They feature a snap closure and offer protection against various substances, including hazardous powders, non-hazardous dry particulates, and non-hazardous liquid splash.

Powders, which are fine dry substances, are smaller in size compared to dry particulates. The latter, in turn, are larger than aerosols and consist of dust and dirt. When the garment encounters liquid splash, it is non-pressurized.

The clean-processed garments are individually packaged within a cleanroom environment to further minimize particulate shedding. Lab coats and frocks are designed with a front closure and are typically worn by researchers and clinical staff to safeguard their personal clothing from accidental spills and splashes, as well as to prevent cross-contamination. Lab coats come with pockets, whereas frocks do not.
