When it comes to cold weather hand protection.  HexArmor® offers a full range of thermal and waterproof gloves to keep your employees working safely and efficiently as the weather changes.

Protective: HexArmor® is the leader in cut, puncture, and impact protection. Each of our winter weather gloves is designed to provide the best possible protection from day-to-day hazards of the job.

Waterproof: Wet skin freezes at much higher temperatures than dry, because it loses heat 25 times faster. If your winter glove isn’t waterproof, it may not be providing the protection you need.

Thermal: Cold weather varies by geography. These gloves are made with a variety of thermal lining options, to fit your needs no matter where you are on the globe.

How much thermal protection do you need?

While there are no official or technical absolutes, our experience of working with thermal gloves does give us insight. While you don’t want to underestimate the level of protection, having too much protection can also have negative results. Here are some guidelines:

C40 Thinsulate®, found in our 2023, 2123, 4082 and 4031 offers an exceptional level of protection for the majority of the United States, except in the most extreme conditions.

C100 Thinsulate®, found in the 2026 and 2033 is rapidly becoming the glove of choice for harsher conditions, such as those found in parts of Canada, North Dakota and Alaska. The added protection does add a little bulk and reduces dexterity, so you need to test to make sure you need that much thermal protection.

For the most extreme conditions, consider the 4050 Arctic Mitt. With G150 Thinsulate®, this is hands-down the warmest glove on the market, while still providing Level 5 Cut, puncture and impact protection.
