Backboards available as rigid and folding types. Wooden backboards are 3/4 in. weatherproof Marine Plywood finished with two coats of clear varnish. Incorporate large hand cut-outs for easy handling. Model JSA-360-R has 3/4 in. runners on bottom for ease in lifting. Four nylon patient restrainer straps are standard equipment on full length and folding models. Two straps on the half length. Also available is folding lightweight aluminum model JSA-362-A. 

The Full Length Plastic Backboard is a rugged one piece lightweight polyethylene spineboard with large hand holes for easy handling, built in runners, low profile and X-ray translucent.
