The unique design of the Uvex Genesis not only meets all ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3 standards for protective eyewear but exceeds both impact performance standards by a wide margin. Uvex Genesis has also passed the stringent military Vo ballistic (standard MIL-STD-662) test regimen at an amazing 7x impact velocity of ANSI and CSA. This represents a new standard of protection excellence.
The soft elastomer “internal” points of contact of the browguard not only provide a comfortable feel but also serve as a “shock absorber” to diffuse and deflect impact energy and protect from injury.
The patented dual 9 base “wrap-around” lens design of the Uvex Genesis provides uncompromised peripheral vision and exceptional coverage of the orbital area.
In another industry first, uvex has engineered a ventilation channel between the frame and the lens of the Uvex Genesis. This channel allows moist air to escape from behind the lens to reduce moisture build-up, minimize fogging and improve vision without compromising impact protection.
Together with the industry leading uvextreme AF anti-fog coating, the new “vented” Uvex Genesis delivers an outstanding level of moisture and fog control.
