"The Soft Yellow Neons are almost too soft! I purchased them primarily for my wife for sleeping and she had trouble rolling them down to size and inserting them. First of all it was difficult to roll them down to size for insertion. Once they were down to size, they were too soft and flimzy to insert easily, they bend too easy. It takes a little more patience and care to follow the directions and use them. As far as noise reduction, they work as advertised and do the job! I have not tried them in cold weather yet and will do so this winter but, for right now, I'm going back to the Classic Yellow Aero E-A-R.
